This week on Teesside: March 3rd-10th

James Cartwright brings an update on the latest Teesside Football.

Marske United

The Seasiders returned to action last Saturday with a 5-1 thrashing of relegation-threatened Chester-Le-Street Town.

Although Marske scored five goals, perhaps the highlight of the game was this.

Billingham Synthonia

Synners kept pace in the top three this week with two vital victories. On Saturday Anthony Peacock’s goal gave a ten-man Synners team a 1-0 win over Durham City.

They followed it up on Tuesday night with a 3-2 victory at Darlington. A report on the game can be read here-

Thornaby’s search for a first win in 2017 continues as they were beaten 1-0 by Darlington RA at Teesdale Park.

A report on the game, can be read here-

The score is now up to 44 after correctly guessing two results last weekend.

Dunston UTS 3-1 Guisborough Town

Time is ticking for Guisborough Town, while they may be competitive it has to be Dunston for the win.

Marske United 3-0 Penrith

The Seasiders are on a roll, there’s little evidence to suggest they can’t make it nine wins in a row.

Alnwick 0-2 Billingham Syntonia

Momentum is building for Synners, against a Alnwick team that has stagnated somewhat they should have no trouble picking up the points.

Billingham Town 3-0 Thornaby

We should see a desperate football team in Billingham Town this weekend. Given Thornaby’s lacklustre form, they should make easy work of them. The only edge is that fact it is a derby.

Ryton & Crawcrook Albion 0-3 Stockton Town

Stockton Town are flying towards promotion and another three points here should be expected.
